Default Profession filter(might become suggestion)

i just want to know people's thought about this.
might become suggestion depends on people's thoughts
when you are in town...you will be able to put profession filters(base on primary).
if you wanna see only warrior...putting filter would allow you to see only primary warriors.

i think this would help people to form party in the town little easier(if you are forming random party).
if you need a monk in your party...putting filter would help that person to find monk much easier...rather than going thru large crowd.

what do you think?

--or--
there will be a box for "looking for a party"..which you can check mark(only available if you are not in party).
then if you put "form party" filter on...you will only be able to see people who put check mark on "looking for a party".

I agree, it could help in growded districts and I like also have when you look around with ctrl, you should see your own guildmates different color like teammates shown.

-It surely would help with making parties, just how to do it is the question. It is a bit data intensive so maybe one profession at a time if you control right click on someone in town or outpost, and others with the same primary profession would light up in a different color on the mini map and their name a different color in town. Just throwing that out there because of bandwidth considerations if 10 people did that at once.

-A similar idea was covered here too.

-Maybe post a link to this one from there too? I can't because I was the last poster there I think and double posting isn't allowed.

I agree, i think a class filter would be awesome. I think to add a little more to it, a Guild filter or party filter (or maybe a level filter) would be helpful as well.

This filtering will dramatically increase the time it takes for a party to start.

Will the guilds members have a emblem by their name that identifies their guild?

hmm...this is kinda off-topic question, but i'll answer it
if you made a guild, you will be able to choose an emblem; and that chosen emblem will be display on the cape.(cost golds)

if you are joining a guild...then you will get a cape with emblem on it.

Not really. All the characters are there anyway, and the client must be able to recognize each player's class to apply their models. The data is already there, all that would need to be done is to organize it into a displayable list.
